Morning

The Morning program brings Current Time viewers the news they need most at the start of each workday. In three, 24-minute broadcasts from Kyiv, anchors Oksana Dumska and Volodymyr Mikhailov objectively and accurately cover not only headline news, but, also, important regional and world topics for discussion and debate. This newscast is our channel’s first daily program from Ukraine, a country where independent media plays a key role in combating disinformation and encouraging democratic reform.

Schedule:
Watch the program live online, on satellite, or with our broadcast partners Monday through Friday at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m., Kyiv time (9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. in Moscow and Minsk).

About The Anchors

Oksana Dumska
Oksana Dumska

Oksana Dumska is a Ukrainian journalist from a small town in western Ukraine. She has worked for a correspondent for Current Time in the Kyiv bureau of RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service and as an international news editor and correspondent for the Ukrainian TV news outlets Pryamyy and Channel Five. Dumska has a degree in journalism from Kyiv’s Taras Shevchenko National University.





Volodymyr Mikhailov
Volodymyr Mikhailov





Volodymyr Mikhailov is a Ukrainian journalist from the eastern city of Donetsk, now controlled by pro-Russian separatists. Over the past decade, he has worked as a correspondent for the Ukrainian TV station ICTV, becoming one of Ukraine's best-known war reporters.
