Unknown Russia: Sergei Ivanov Gets A New Life In The Village Of The Blind
Sergei Ivanov, a blind factory worker, has lived for over 30 years in the Soviet-era village of Rusinovo, some 386 kilometers northeast of Moscow. Officials created the settlement to improve life for the blind and vision-impaired, but Ivanov, now in his late 40s, has experienced few advantages here. A 2017 broadcast of Unknown Russia helped finally make a difference.
