Caucasus Crossroads shares stories from three diverse states situated at the intersection of Europe and Asia – Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. The outside world often defines them by their ongoing territorial conflicts. Or by tourists’ tales of wine, sun, and song. But how do the residents of this culturally complex region see themselves? And what values do they share, despite their linguistic, ethnic, religious, and political differences? To find out, we partnered with Chai Khana, an award-winning multimedia outlet, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, that focuses on the human stories that make this frequently misunderstood region one of the world’s most dynamic.
