America is a one-hour, live daily television newscast providing U.S. and international news for the Russian-speaking population globally – 45 minutes from Washington and a 15-minute business show produced in New York. It also features live interviews with newsmakers, and the latest in science and technology, medical and entertainment news. A stringer network across the United States provides news and feature programming from major American cities. Current Time America is distributed via multiple top TV distributors in our broadcast region.

Roman Mamonov

Roman Mamonov got his start in journalism at Russia’s REN-TV, delved into economics for RBK-TV, picked up a certain amount of culture at the Culture channel and, finally, saw his dreams broken at NTV. He has worked simultaneously on broadcasts for the Moscow radio stations BusinessFM and Kommersant FM. Mamonov, who has lived in the U.S. since 2012, graduated with a degree in journalism from Moscow State University.
