LIVE SPECIAL: Protests Follow Aleksei Navalny's Sentencing To Prison

Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny, accused of flouting the terms of a suspended sentence for embezzlement, attends the February 2, 2021 court hearing in Moscow on the government's request that he be sentenced to prison for 3 1/2 years.

On February 2, Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for allegedly violating the terms of a suspended sentence for financial crimes against the French cosmetics company Yves Rocher. In response, Navalny's colleagues have called for protests in downtown Moscow.
