Prison Alphabet: Series Trailer

Beginning on May 28, 2021, Current Time‘s 13-episode Prison Alphabet series, directed by Russian filmmaker Andrey Silvestrov, will take you inside the world of Russian prisons for an unprecedented look at one of the world’s harshest penal systems. Forty former inmates -- ranging from Oleg Navalny, brother of jailed Russian opposition politician Aleksei Navalny, to ex-Yukos oil company manager Vladimir Pereverzin and Pussy Riot musician Maria Alyokhina – will share what they learned and experienced behind bars.
