On Sunday, April 5, Current Time temporarily lost access to its main YouTube channel as the result of a phishing attack.
The hackers managed to gain control of Current Time’s central YouTube channel and to remove around a dozen news streams. They also tried to post material on the channel that urged viewers to use Bitcoin for money transfers.
Current Time regained control over the channel within several hours and restored the affected videos. The YouTube channel is now working as usual.
Current Time expresses thanks to its more than 1 million subscribers for their ongoing support.
