Dramatic video has emerged showing Belarusian security forces attacking a car with Russian plates in Minsk on August 11 after the start of anti-government protests against a presidential election widely seen as rigged. Riot police smashed the car with truncheons, and the driver and passenger were dragged from the vehicle. The driver was sentenced to 25 days in jail.
