Nearly 32 percent of Kyrgyzstan's children live in poverty, according to official data, but social-welfare support is slim. With their parents often working, children in one slum in the capital, Bishkek, tend to just fend for themselves. Ten-year-old Turdubek and his neighbor, Aizirek, spoke to us about their lives.
